In the heart of the Georgian black sea coast, Kobuleti was a perfect venue for our Youth Exchange, thanks to the sunny weather and the warm temperatures that are usual in September yet.
36 youngsters from 5 different countries (Georgia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Armenia and Greece) gathered in Kobuleti to share their cultures and created a great atmosphere during 9 days. They participated in different activities about inclusion, tolerance and anti-discrimination.
Non-formal education methods were used by the two facilitators and by the participants, who created their own sessions. In some of these workshops the youth had to debate, to share their opinions or make some art expressing themselves in the topic of tolerance.
Additionally, these 5 countries had the chance to present their culture, gastronomy and national dances in the cultural evenings that were organised by the participants.
There was also enough free time to enjoy the beautiful beach of Kobuleti, visit the center of the town or have a day trip, with some activities included, in the futurist city of Batumi.
Most of these youth became good friends and shared their good mood to make every activity fun during the day and during the night.
Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges are often a great way to meet new people from different nationalities, learn about their countries and culture and find out more about the topic of the project, in this case tolerance.
