“Diversity and Inclusion”

Youth Exchange: “Diversity and Inclusion” From 2^nd to 9^th October 2022, 48 youngsters  from Germany, Georgia, Slovenia and Italy met in Rheinbach, Germany. The reason they met was to discuss the topic “Diversity and Inclusion “. The project was held by “FrauFam – Integration Center for Women and Families “ funded by European Union in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange. During the project, participants promoted tolerance, pluralism and respect, exchanged ‘best practice’ experiences of multicultural societies and encourage cross-border co-operation. Group activities started  discussion the meaning of tolerance, stereotypes of other nations, freedom, and other topics regarding the world living in peace and kindness. The participants also had a chance to “taste” the different cultures during the “Culture night evenings” when each country presented their typical food, dances and beauties of the nature. In the middle of the stay, there was a group trip to the city Rheinbach, Cologne and Bonn. The visited cities inspired young quests of Germany. During trip around Rheinbach participants had a chance to meet and talked with local people, they were very impressed by hospitality and friendly attitude of local people of Rheinbach. During the project participants were accommodated  in “Jugendwohnheim” Rheinbach, which were identified as comfortable and easy to get place for future international meetings. Overall, the participants made new friends from foreign countries and raised the awareness of the importance to tolerate and respect each other.
