Youth Exchange: Tolerance is a sign of Strength From 10th to 19th September 2022, youngsters from Georgia, Armenia, Greece, Croatia, Czechia and Malta met in Kobuleti, Georgia. The reason they met was to discuss the topic “Tolerance is a sign of Strength”. The project was held by Youth Centre of Georgia sponsored by European Union in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange grant. During the first days, participants were getting to know each other by using ice-breakers, games and group activities and started to discuss tolerance, stereotypes of other nations, freedom, sexism, homophobia and other hot topics regarding the world living in peace and kindness. The participants also had a chance to “taste” the different cultures during the “Culture night evenings” when each country presented their typical food, dances and beauties of the nature. In the middle of the stay, there was a group trip to the city of Batumi also known as the Las Vegas of the Black Sea. The participants tasted local food such as Chačapuri, Khinkhali or Tvadi and learnt the typical dance Achaeuli from the citizens of Batumi. Overall, the people made new friends from foreign countries and raised the awareness of the importance to tolerate and respect each other.
