In Georgia, specifically at Kubuleti city 36 youth from different 6 countries gathered from the 22nd of April to the 1st of May to discuss a major topic under the name of “Youth Can Stop Radicalization”
The project aimed to empower youth to take a proactive role in preventing radicalization and extremism and to foster intercultural dialogue and understanding among the participating countries. Through a variety of workshops, discussions, and team-building activities, the participants were able to explore different perspectives on radicalization and develop their critical thinking skills.
Participating countries: Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Egypt, and Turkey.
Throughout the project, the participants also had the opportunity to experience Georgian culture and traditions and to engage with local youth and community organizations. This cultural exchange helped to promote mutual respect and understanding among the participants and to strengthen the bonds between their respective countries.
Overall, the “Youth Can Stop Radicalization” project was a valuable opportunity for young people from different countries and backgrounds to come together and address a pressing issue facing our society. By empowering youth to take action against radicalization, we can help to create a more peaceful and inclusive world for all.
